Veg-All Steam Fresh Vegetables are part of the Allen’s line of frozen vegetables. They come in the typical mixed vegetable flavors of frozen vegetables, and I decided to try the mix of cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots, also known as the California Mix.

The one-pound bag contained generous sized pieces of vegetables, and while some broccoli and cauliflower frozen vegetables usually are more of the stems than the “flower” part, I was pleasantly surprised to see quite the opposite with this mix. The bag was on sale for $1.50 and normally retails for $2.00. Having tried this brand and the other competitors steamed vegetables; I prefer the Veg-All brand.
